My Eyes See

There was a stretch of time where I wasn’t making much of anything. The spark was still there, somewhere. But life got busy, messy, and loud. Drawing became something I used to do. Creating felt distant, like it belonged to another version of me.
‘My Eyes See’ was my way of reclaiming that spark that still lingered.

This project became a gentle reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be loud or grand. Sometimes, it can just as much be about the process itself and how you got there. Each page in ‘My Eyes See’ reflects a mix of observation and emotion, uncertainty and curiosity.
As I kept working, something shifted. What started as a hesitant return turned into a rhythm, a ritual. I began to look at the world with new eyes, not just as a source of reference, but as a well of inspiration. And in doing so, I started to see myself differently too. Shifting from someone who used to create as a means to an end, to someone who IS creating and taking the time to fully enjoy and understand the process behind creating.
I chose to turn 'My Eyes See" into a book because I wanted to take pride in what I created, a way to honour the progress I’ve made, to see it collected in one place, and to remind myself that the process is worth celebrating. More than anything, it became a personal record of growth. A visual archive of showing up, trusting myself, and watching my confidence slowly build, page by page.
This is the start of a new way of creating, and I'm so excited to see where it leads.
